At the high school, the Above the Influence Club presents an alternative to being under the influence. The group’s motto is “support and empower,” and the aim is to influence through positive peer pressure. With such a large percentage of area teens reporting alcohol use, Caitlyn Kesilewski reminded the group that “it can happen to any of us.”
