Academic Accomplishments

I am impressed with how hard you worked to develop your basketball skillset. However, I am equally impressed with your ability to strike a balance between being an athlete and being a scholar athlete. Your overall Grade Point Average of 3.930 is impressive and just like your athletic skills, something that you should be proud of. I appreciate that you are a positive role model as well as your willingness to assume leadership roles in ATI (Above the Influence) and other venues in an effort to improve the culture and climate in our school community.

You have been nominated by your coach to join the Athletic Leadership Team at Waunakee High School... the Athletic Department selects student-athletes based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: number of sports participated in and GPA...The...goal [of The Athletic Leadership Team] is provide an avenue for the students of Waunakee to have dialogue with school administration regarding the direction of the athletics and co-curriculars at Waunakee High School...I look forward to working with and sharing the lessons that can be learned through playing and I also look forward to learning from you and growing as an Athletic Director and as a person.

Caitlyn, none of this today would have been possible without you! I am sure that not everyone knows the amount of time, effort, and careful thought that you dedicate to pursuing ATI’s (Above the Influence's) mission, but I see it...thank you so much for your focused leadership that has opened so many opportunities for this club this year!
